Firefighters in Anderson County responded late yesterday to a house blaze on Cove Road in Oliver Springs.

Crews arrived to see the home fully involved in flames.

The body of an elderly woman was discovered inside the house.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

The name of the deceased is being withheld at this time.
