MAN INJURED IN VEHICLE ACCIDENT

A Fentress County man sustained minor injuries in a single vehicle accident in Cumberland County early yesterday morning (Tuesday, October 25, 2017). Troopers say the accident took place on Interstate 40 at the 320 mile marker when a deer ran out in front of a 1999 Ford Explorer driven by 25-year-old Mason Bradley of Jamestown. Bradley swerved to the left and struck a guardrail end causing the vehicle to overturn and come to rest in the median. Bradley was wearing his seatbelt and only sustained minor injuries. Troopers say the accident would have been much worse if Bradley was not wearing his seatbelt. Officers say with the weather conditions becoming colder, deer will be moving much more than during the warmer months. Troopers remind motorists to stay alert and wear seatbelts.
