Loudon County investigators released more information today on yesterday’s deadly shooting that left a man dead on Tinnel Lane. The victim has been identified as 34-year-old Christopher C. Watson of Lenoir City. Officers state the man suspected of shooting Watson is 41-year-old John D. Dixon, Jr., also from Lenoir City. A female who was with Dixon when he was captured was one of the two individuals initially detained for investigation but she has since been cleared as a witness only and released. Official charges, including that of murder, are expected to be placed on Dixon. (picture below is the victim, Christopher Watson)
