The Harriman Police Department is investigating a suspicious death. Police responded Tuesday to Roane Medical Center after a group of individuals brought a deceased female to the emergency room. The subjects were identified and their statements taken. The deceased has been identified as 54-year-old Evelyn R. Noland. An autopsy has been performed and the results are pending.
