MAN REPORTEDLY SHOT WHILE MOWING GRASS IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

A man is recovering after he was apparently shot late yesterday in Cumberland County while mowing grass. Deputies responded to the emergency room of Cumberland Medical Center where 21-year-old Cirilo Miller said he was operating a stand-up riding mower in a yard on the 1400 block of West Creston Road when he felt something strike him in the chest. Miller has a small entrance wound on his left side of his chest. An exam showed a small piece of metal lodged under the skin and doctors stated it looked to be the size and shape of a .22 caliber bullet. No suspects were identified in the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
