Two suspects charged with murder and one with attempted murder appeared in Cumberland County Criminal Court today.

The first case involves 35-year-old Kirk Douglas Clark and his wife, 35-year-old Doneal Marie Clark. They are charged with the first-degree murder of 74-year-old Linda Damewood in a shooting at a home on Cherokee Trail early this year. The second case is in regards to 29-year-old Andrew Nicholas Rich who is charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated burglary. The charges comes from an incident this past June in Fairfield Glade. Officers responded then to a home on St. George Drive for shots fired allegedly by Rich through a bedroom door.

Rich was arraigned today and will return to court next month

Since the Clarks did not enter a plea today, the judge set another court date of January 22, 2020 for them.
