A 17-year-old lost his life in a motorcycle crash Wednesday in McMinn County at the intersection of State Route 30 and County Road 180. The report released today says the teen turned onto the westbound lane of State Route 30 and pulled in front of a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Brian Howard. The 17-year-old was wearing a helmet at the time of impact. Howard was not hurt. Troopers did not identify the teen killed in the accident.
