A woman was hit by a vehicle around 7 a.m. this morning in Lake Tansi. Initial reports indicate the female was walking near the corner of Natchez Trace and Moccasin Lane when a driver in a Chevy Silverado struck her. She was transported to a landing zone at Brown Elementary School where Lifestar took her to U.T. Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. The driver stopped immediately after impact and awaited deputies. This is a breaking news story and more information will be released at a later time.
