MAN ARRESTED AFTER PULLING GUN ON NEIGHBORS FOR SHOOTING FIREWORKS
Richard Hayes, a 53-year-old from Ooltewah has been charged after pulling a gun on a family who was setting off fireworks Sunday night.
After Hayes confronted the families shooting off fireworks, he then called dispatch himself saying the police had 30 seconds to respond to the scene before he “blew this guy’s head off”.
When officials arrived, they observed that Hayes was highly intoxicated.
Hayes was arrested and charged with 10 counts of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, possession of a firearm while intoxicated, and public intoxication.
