Alba Health Facility announced Monday that they will be closing their Rockwood facility early next year affecting nearly 175 local jobs.

Sources indicate operations are expected to be moving to Mexico.

The facility which has been a fixture along Gateway Avenue for more than 80 years has been one of the few remaining Hosiery manufacturers still operating in the Southeast US.
