MONTEREY P.D. WORKING TO MAKE NARCAN MORE ACCESSIBLE

Monterey Police Department is expanding our partnership with our Regional Overdose Prevention Specialists to make Narcan more accessible to our community. Narcan is a life-saving medication that can reverse opioid overdoses, and we want to ensure that anyone who needs it can get it, no questions asked.
How to get Narcan:
Any adult who comes into the Police Department can request it.
No identification required:
We will NOT ask for your name, address, or any other personal information, only verbal confirmation that you are an adult.
Opioid overdoses claim thousands of lives each year, and increasing access to Narcan can help prevent tragedies. We are proud to work with the Regional Overdose Prevention Specialists to bring this vital resource to our community.
