DETAILS ON BOMB THREAT AT JAMESTOWN WALMART ON SATURDAY

On Saturday evening, the Walmart store on Central Avenue E in Jamestown, Tennessee, was evacuated after the Jamestown Police Department received a bomb threat shortly after 8:30 p.m. A man reportedly called the store claiming that two bombs had been placed on the property.
Multiple agencies, including the Fentress County Fire Department, Sheriff’s Department, EMS, Rescue Squad, and Emergency Management Agency, responded to assist with securing the scene and evacuating customers and staff. After a thorough search, no explosive devices were found, and the store was cleared to resume normal operations.
The Jamestown Police Department expressed gratitude for the rapid response of all first responders and stated that a full investigation into the threat and its source is ongoing, with no additional details released at this time.
