FLOATING REMAINS IN ROCKWOOD DETERMINED TO BE FROM A DEER
You may have seen several Rockwood police officers at the Fort Southwest Point boat ramp this past Saturday following a report from a caller about remains, including organs, floating in the water.
Upon arrival and investigation, officers determined the remains were from a deer and not human, a result of someone butchering a deer and tossing unwanted organs into the water.
