FENTRESS SHERIFF ARRESTED ON CHARGES OF TAMPERING WITH GOVERNMENT RECORDS
In Fentress County, Tennessee, Sheriff Michael “Bigfoot” Reagon was arrested on Thursday following an investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
The TBI executed an indictment charging him with destruction of and tampering with government records. After his arrest, Reagon was booked into the Fentress County Sheriff’s Justice Center as part of standard procedure.
Chief Deputy Hunter Fowler issued a statement assuring residents that the sheriff’s office will continue operating at the highest professional standards, with all patrol, investigative, corrections, and emergency services proceeding normally.
