SINGLE-VEHICLE ROLLOVER CRASH ON WESTBOUND I-40 IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

According to a report by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, on December 22, 2025, at approximately 5:14 a.m., a single-vehicle crash occurred on westbound Interstate 40 at mile marker 308 in Cumberland County. A 2006 Honda Civic, driven by 38-year-old Elmer Lopez Seabrook from Maryland, was traveling in the left lane when it lost control, veered off the right side of the roadway, traveled down an embankment, overturned, and came to rest on its roof facing west.
Seabrook was wearing a seat belt and was not injured, and no charges were filed. The vehicle carried three passengers, all from Maryland and wearing seat belts with no injuries reported or charges filed: 24-year-old Elvis Lopez De Paz, 22-year-old Herlyn De La Cruz Arevalo, and 18-year-old Wilson De La Cruz Arevalo. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
