Cumberland County Commissioner Sue York announced with a broken heart that the county has lost Nancy J. Hyder, a cherished friend, educator, and fellow county commissioner, who passed away early this morning after battling illnesses for several months.

Hyder will be deeply missed by many, and prayers have been offered for her family and caregiver.
