CROSSVILLE MAN WAITS OVER FIVE YEARS TO REPORT STOLEN VEHICLE
On April 14, 2026, at approximately 1:40 PM, Sgt. Henson and Officer Nathan Ramson of the Crossville PD spoke with a male complainant in the Justice Center lobby. The complainant reported that his 2001 Pontiac Grand Am was stolen from his residence at Old Mail Road. He stated that he last saw the vehicle on May 10, 2020, around 10:00 AM, and estimated its value at $12,000.
The complainant believed the thief may have been a woman who had been staying at the house with him at the time. He spontaneously mentioned that he may have been knocked unconscious the night the vehicle disappeared.
The complainant said he first realized the car was gone on May 15, 2020 (or possibly 2021) around 9:00 PM, but he delayed filing a police report because he hoped one of his friends would return it.
