CROSSVILLE MAN FACES SIX FELONY COUNTS INCLUDING HIGH-SPEED EVADING ARREST, OFFICER ASSAULT, AND TRUCK THEFT

Juan Manuel Flores is scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. in Cumberland County Criminal Court, represented by attorney Jeff Vires. He faces a six-count indictment related to a September 25, 2025 incident in Crossville. According to the allegations, following an alleged domestic situation, Flores fled from Crossville Police, driving a stolen 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 Warlock pickup at speeds exceeding 130 mph, endangering innocent bystanders.

The charges include felony evading arrest (vehicle involved, with risk of death or injury), felony reckless endangerment (vehicle), assault on a law enforcement officer (for causing bodily injury to Sgt. Chrystal Massey), theft of property valued between $10,000 and $60,000 (the pickup truck), resisting stop/arrest/search by using force, and violation of a protective order or conditions of release.
