The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary and theft that occurred between the evening of Tuesday, April 21, 2026, and Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at an outbuilding on Gordon Road. The stolen items include valuable collectible sports cards—specifically 1958 and 1959 Mickey Mantle baseball cards and three 1968 Nolan Ryan rookie cards—along with additional sports cards stored in protective cases, two Milwaukee drills, and two Milwaukee tool bags. The total value of the stolen property is approximately $11,500. Some of the Milwaukee tools are marked with the initials “CS” near the battery area.
Authorities are requesting the public’s help in identifying anyone attempting to sell matching vintage sports cards, suspicious online listings involving collectible cards or Milwaukee tools, individuals in possession of tools marked “CS,” or any suspicious activity observed near Gordon Road during the relevant timeframe. Information can be provided anonymously to Crossville Cumberland County Crime Stoppers at (931) 200-1173, with possible cash rewards for tips leading to an arrest.
