Paul Anthony Palumbo faces multiple charges on June 2nd in Cumberland County Circuit Court stemming from a domestic incident on September 11, 2023, at 43 Kingsbury Circle in Fairfield Glade.

According to the affidavits of complaint filed by Officer Logan Janow of the Fairfield Glade Police Department, Palumbo allegedly committed aggravated assault (a Class C felony, domestic-related) by intentionally impeding the victim’s normal breathing and blood circulation. He reportedly used his hands to block her mouth and applied pressure to her throat and neck. He also allegedly caused bodily injury by punching, kicking, and slamming her head against the ground, resulting in head injuries, bruises, black eyes, and scratches. The victim required emergency medical transport for an MRI to check for head trauma.

A separate charge of interference with emergency calls alleges that during the assault, Palumbo prevented the victim from calling 911 by physically taking her cell phone and leaving the scene with it. An additional domestic assault charge is listed on the June 2 docket.

The cases were filed on April 22, 2024. Palumbo is represented by attorney Kevin R. Bryant and has posted a $17,500 surety bond through Huckabee Bonding.
