Roane County Schools has named Jackie Moore as the new Assistant Principal of Harriman Middle School. A Harriman native, Mrs. Moore has 20 years of teaching experience, including 14 years at the middle school, and has spent the last nine years coaching cheerleading at Harriman High School.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Tennessee Technological University, a master’s degree in elementary teaching from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and an educational specialist degree in instructional leadership from Lincoln Memorial University. Expressing her gratitude for the opportunity, Mrs. Moore highlighted the school’s family-like atmosphere and stated her commitment to working with the faculty to support students both academically and personally.
