The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) has selected the winning entries for the 2026-27 Tennessee Wildlife magazine photo contest, which will be featured in the upcoming annual calendar starting this August. Out of a highly competitive pool of entries narrowed down to just 14 showcase photos, local photographers Bill Gelsleichter of Crossville and Rick McCulley of Rockwood were among the select group of winners recognized for their work.

Their winning photographs, which highlight Tennessee’s native fish, wildlife, or outdoor sporting scenes, will be featured in the calendar issue, while other submitted photos will be kept on file for potential use in future agency publications and on the TWRA website.
