CLINTON DISPATCHER CHARGED WITH CHILD RAPE AND INCEST
A City of Clinton 911 dispatcher is off the job and facing severe criminal charges after turning himself over to authorities on Tuesday.
Tyler Lindsey voluntarily surrendered to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office after both he and the Clinton Police Department were notified of outstanding warrants against him.
Lindsey faces multiple felony charges, including:

Two counts of rape of a child

Two counts of aggravated sexual battery

One count of incest
Following the arrest, the Clinton Police Department placed Lindsey on unpaid administrative leave pending the outcome of the criminal proceedings.
Lindsey’s arraignment is scheduled for Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. According to court records, he will be required to wear a GPS monitoring device as a condition of his release if he posts bond.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is leading the ongoing investigation.
