David Michael Minnich is scheduled for a deadline hearing in the Cumberland County Circuit Court on August 11, 2026, stemming from a felony indictment for major property theft.

Minnich is represented by attorney Kevin R. Bryant and faces a single count of theft of property valued between $60,000 and $250,000. He is currently out on a $70,000 surety bond issued by Big Jim’s Bonding Company.

According to the grand jury indictment returned during the February 2026 term by District Attorney General Bryant C. Dunaway’s office, the charges allege that Minnich unlawfully exercised control over a substantial collection of property belonging to a victim without consent between January 3, 2025, and May 2, 2025.

The stolen equipment listed in the court documents includes:

• Mowers

• A roller

• A brush cutter

• A tiller and a cultivator

• A dozer blade

• A hedge trimmer

• A chain saw

• Multiple weed eaters and blowers

Several law enforcement witnesses from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office as well as the victim have been summoned to testify in the case prosecuted by the Office of the District Attorney General.
