A section of Old Harriman Highway is closed for up to six hours on Thursday as the Harriman Utility Board (HUB) addresses emergency repair work.

The closure affects the stretch of roadway located between Morgan County Highway and Oakdale.

Simultaneously, HUB crews are responding to a power outage impacting approximately 600 customers in the Bitter Creek and Boswell Chapel areas. Crews are currently on the scene isolating the issue to restore service to all but two customers in the immediate repair zone.

Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes while maintenance and restoration efforts are underway.
