CITY OF CROSSVILLE ANNOUNCES ANNUAL LEAF COLLECTION PROGRAM STARTING NOVEMBER 1
The City of Crossville has announced that its annual seasonal leaf collection program will run from November 1 through February 28, weather permitting.
Residents preparing for the upcoming season should note the following guidelines for pickup:
-
Placement: Leaves must be placed within 6 feet of the curb to ensure they are within reach of the vacuum truck.
-
Bagging Optional: Leaves do not need to be bagged, though bagged leaves will also be accepted and collected.
-
Debris Restrictions: Piles must be kept free of limbs, branches, and trash.
-
Pickup Limits: Each household is limited to three collections per season, with additional pickups requiring approval from the Street Department Manager.
To request a pickup once leaves are ready, residents can submit a work order through the Citizens Request Portal on the official City of Crossville website or contact the Public Works office directly at 931-484-7631.
City officials note that while every effort will be made to service requests promptly, collection times may vary depending on weather conditions, and community patience is appreciated.
