ROANE COUNTY SEES QUIET WEEKEND AMID MINOR EMERGENCY RESPONSES
By Dudley Evans –
Roane County experienced a mostly peaceful weekend, though emergency responders answered the call for a couple of separate incidents involving children.
-
Saturday Evening: A child sustained injuries in a dog bite incident on Ben Henry Road, just outside the Harriman city limits, and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
-
Sunday Afternoon: At approximately 1:30 PM, Kingston fire first responders and an ambulance were dispatched to the Roane County High School campus behind the school for a medical emergency involving a 15-year-old student. The student was transported to Roane Medical Center for evaluation in a non-emergency transport.
Aside from these events, emergency services reported a relatively quiet weekend across the county with no major vehicle crashes.
