Yesterday it was eastbound traffic, today it is westbound traffic in the same area that is slowed around the 307 mile marker to the 311 exit of I-40 in Cumberland County because of construction. Traffic is backed up. This condition will persist until mid to late afternoon today (11 am central Thursday, August 24, 2017)
