A woman is being sought by Crossville Police in connection with two crimes. Officers were called to Walmart for a report of a woman’s purse being stolen from a cart. The surveillance video shows a female suspect take the purse from the unsuspecting shopper and then leave the store. She then exited the parking lot in a Maroon colored SUV, but not before that camera got a shot of the vehicle’s license. The registration was traced to a male subject in Grandview, but the video also matched up the suspect to a woman who matched the description of a female involved in a stolen check case from the Upper Cumberland Federal Credit Union. Warrants have been issued for the suspect.
