The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office will be participating with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for the “National Prescription Drug Take-Back Initiative” on Saturday, October 28. The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is helping citizens to properly dispose of unused or expired medication. This keeps medicine out of the hands of someone who might abuse them, helps decrease crime, helps to save lives and protects the environment. The Drug Take-Back will be held at the Sheriff’s Office at 90 Justice Center Drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 28.
