AAA & BUDWEISER TEAM FOR HALLOWEEN “TOW TO GO” PROGRAM

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says nearly 40 percent of all fatal crashes on Halloween involve a driving while drunk. AAA is teaming again with Budweiser to help prevent those crashes by offering motorists who cannot drive a Tow to Go. On Tuesday, Oct. 31, through 6 AM on Wednesday, Nov. 1, drivers can call 855-286-9246 (855-2-TOW-2-GO), and a confidential local ride will transport them to a safe location within 10 miles. A AAA tow truck will take the vehicle and the driver home. The program is available and free for AAA members and non-members in eight states including Tennessee. Since the program began in 1998, Tow To Go has taken more than 24,000 impaired drivers off the roads.
