ABSTON NO SHOWS COURT ON CRUELTY TO ANIMAL CHARGE, LATER ARRESTED
A Cumberland County man who did not report to general sessions court on a charge of cruelty to animals has been arrested. The original incident had officers responding to a home on Junior Camp Road in July where 50-year-old Michael Deangelo Abston apparently kicked and stomped a dog to death, dragged it to a nearby wood line and left it there. Abston was taken into custody for failure to appear and initially placed under $9,000 bond.
