CROSSVILLE POLICE INVESTIGATING PEDESTRIAN POSSIBLY HIT BY A VEHICLE

Was he hit by a car or not? That is the question Crossville investigators are trying to figure out from an incident that took place Saturday night. Officers went to the corner of Obed Street and West Avenue where a 57-year-old man stated Pierre Ifora of Miami, Florida jumped onto his vehicle and pretended to fall back onto the pavement. Ifora told officers that the driver was going too fast and hit him. Authorities hope to review surveillance footage from a nearby church so see exactly what happened. Ifora was taken to Cumberland Medical Center and later released after treatment of minor injuries.
