Highway 27 is now back open.

ORIGINAL STORY:
Highway 27 South of Rockwood at the Mountain View Road intersection will close today to allow LifeStar to land after a side-by-side rollover accident occurred on Mountain View Road within the last hour.

The closure is happening now, with LifeStar expected to land soon to airlift a victim from the scene. The Mountain View Road intersection is between the Highway 27 and Highway 70 junction and Whites Creek Road.
