ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING INVOLVING GUN CLEANING IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
A Cumberland County man is recuperating after being involved in a firearm accident. Deputies and First Responders were called to a Lake Drive residence for the report of someone being shot. According to reports, 53-year-old William Todd Flynn was cleaning a handgun with his left hand over the barrel when he accidentally pulled the trigger. The gun discharged striking his index finger. Flynn was transported to Cumberland Medical Center by EMS where he received treatment for the non-life threatening wound.
