ALCOA SCHOOL BUS CATCHES FIRE; STUDENTS ALL SAFE

An Alcoa school bus caught fire Monday morning, however all the student riders are safe and at school. All the details are not in as yet, but Bus #47E caught fire near Duncan Station Rd. All of the students were able to exit the bus and are safe in school. Efforts by firefighters to save the bus failed. It’s believed that the engine somehow caught fire.
