The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Dept. continues to war against illegal drug activity. While on patrol on Feb. 19, deputies observed a suspicious vehicle pull into a vacant residence. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 46-year-old Larry Neal of East Mayland Dr. It was confirmed that Neal had an outstanding warrant for probation violation and a consent search of the vehicle turned up several baggies of a substance that field tested positive to be meth. 1.6 grams of the illegal drug was confiscated which had been packaged for resale. Neal was charged with manufacture/delivery/sale of a controlled substance.
