Cumberland County deputies have reported another in a rash of trailer thefts from local properties. The latest one was reported yesterday morning, from the 1500 block of Westel Loop in Crossville. The owner reported his 2014 black 6.5-by-10-foot Wolf trailer was stolen from his yard. The trailer has no tailgate and its left-side brake-light housing is broken. There are no suspects at this time, but an investigation is underway. The trailer is valued at approximately $1,200.

Tuesday night, another Westel Loop resident reported his black 6-by-12-foot dovetail trailer with gate and weed-eater stands stolen from his property. Video cameras captured the theft of the trailer and Cumberland County Sheriff’s investigators are looking into the matter. 1057 News is working to get a copy of the video footage and will post it when it is made available.
