Early Wednesday morning, Roane County deputies initiated a traffic stop along Spring City Highway, south of Rockwood for a vehicle found traveling 69 mph in a 55 mph zone. Upon approaching the driver, deputies saw in plain view what appeared to be a small amount of marijuana in 36-year-old Yoffy Eugene Chisolm’s lap. As Chisolm exited the vehicle, the deputy observed what appeared to be marijuana “shake” on his pants, and what appeared to be marijuana stems left behind in the driver’s seat.

Chisolm was found to have an active Violation of Probation warrant from the United States Marshals Service. During a search, deputies found a straw with residue of illegal drugs in Chisolm’s pocket.
