ANTIOCH SHOOTER WAS TRYING TO BECOME UNARMED SECURITY GUARD

Records reveal that the Antioch church shooter was trying to become an unarmed security guard. Just two days prior to the attack which left one person dead and 6 others wounded, 25-year-old Emanuel Samson had attended classes at the Academy of Personal Protection. According to the company’s records, the night before the shooting at Burnette Chapel Church of Christ, Samson worked as such a guard at Crimson Security Services located in Smyrna. State records show Samson previously held an Unarmed Security license in Tennessee beginning in January 2014, but the license expired two years later without being renewed. Samson is currently behind bars, facing a murder charge following the church attack. The Metro Nashville Police Department says several more charges, including attempted murder, will be forthcoming.
