AREA TEAMS RANKED IN AP HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL POLL
The Associated Press has released its latest high school football rankings for Tennessee and several area schools are in it. In Class 6A, Maryville is ranked second and Bradley Central and Farragut is tied at seventh. In Class 4A, Anderson County is third and Livingston Academy is 9th. In Class 3A, Alcoa remains the number one team but Kingston is 9th and Loudon is 10th. Both Kingston and Loudon broke into the top ten this week in Class 3A. Looking at Class 2A, undefeated Meigs County remains the top team.
