Roane County Authorities are looking for a suspect in an armed home invasion Saturday night. Police were called to S. Kingston Ave. at 11 PM where the victim stated that she had a call from a woman who asked if her boyfriend wanted to buy a gun. She told the caller to bring it by so that they could look at it. About an hour later, she answered the door thinking it was the caller but it was an unknown man holding a handgun. The suspect struck the woman’s boyfriend in the head and demanded prescription medication and money. The victim handed over 90 Oxycodone and 30 Oxymorphone tablets along with $100. The invader then forced the two into a bedroom, stole their cellphone and then fled the scene. The victim then notified 911 Dispatch from the neighbor’s home and the investigation is ongoing.
