The Cumberland County Commission will have at least five candidates to select from to fill a vacant seat in the 6^th district. Others may come forward at their meeting scheduled for August 19, 2019. That is when the commission will vote and select one. The five include Clifford Segar, Gary Goldberg Jr., Joseph L. Sherrill, Charles E. Wilson Jr. and Cody Christopher. Ones interested in the seat must reside in the 6^th district that includes Crab Orchard, Ozone, Westel and Grassy Cove.
