A man charged with voluntary manslaughter in Cumberland County made an appearance today in criminal court. Stacey Dwight Austin, age 37, is also charged with tamper with evidence. He was indicted on both charges by a grand jury in August 2018. Stacey Austin is accused of the shooting death of 55-year-old Teresa Faye Austin at a home on Neverfail Road in June of this year. In court today, the judge set a return date of January 23, 2019 to see where the status of the case is at with prosecutors and the defense attorney.
