An individual charged with the murder of a Cumberland County man appeared in criminal court today. Officers say 47-year-old Billy Joe Wannyn of Spencer is charged with first-degree murder and aggravated robbery in the death of 71-year-old Albin Buechel. Buechel’s body was discovered at his home on Seagraves Road in Pleasant Hill in January of this year after reportedly sustaining several stab wounds. In court today, the judge set another court date of January 23, 2019 for Wannyn.
