The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department and Monterey Police Department is asking for the public’s help in solving a robbery. Officerds say a caucasian male with gray hair having an ace bandage wrapped around his face, came into Fred’s Pharmacy in Monterey April 28, 2017 and handed a note to the pharmacist demanding all the oxycodone. The note made the threat that the man had a gun and not to call law enforcement. No gun was displayed but the man had a sling on his arm, it is unknown if there was a gun on the suspect. Video footage of the suspect was found on a near by businesses video surveillance system. The suspect drove to the area in a mid to late 90’s Chevy Z71 extended cab pickup truck, the color is a darker tan color. In the video the suspect appears to be wearing jeans and a dark colored long sleeve jacket and his right arm is in a sling. After the robbery the suspect walked back out to his truck and drove off going down back streets until coming out across from Hardee’s in Monterey. The suspect then turned right going towards I-40.
