AXELL ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, OTHER CHARGES
Early Wednesday morning, while conducting a welfare check, Roane County deputies found 30-year-old Jaret Shonn Axell slumped over behind the wheel of a car parked in front of the Pilot gas station on the 1400 block of Lawnville Road in Kingston. According to the police report, Axell had apparently been there for more than two hours. Central Dispatch confirmed Axell’s license was revoked. When asked if there was anything illegal in the vehicle, Axell told deputies, “No, you can search me.” So they did… and turned up a hypodermic needle and a marijuana rolled cigar. Axell was arrested for simple possession, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a revoked license. He was taken to the Roane County Detention Facility without incident.
