BRANDON VANDENBURG SENTENCING HEARING DELAYED
Convicted rapist Brandon Vandenburg will not have his sentence hearing until November according to court officials. The former Vanderbilt football player was initially going to be sentenced Friday, but his defense team asked for a delay in order to file new paperwork. Prosecutors agreed, in order to review the new documents so the new date has been pushed back to Nov. 4th. Vandenburg was found guilty of five counts of aggravated rape, two counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of unlawful photography. He faces 15 to 20 years behind bars for the incident which happened in 2013 on campus.
