Michael T. Smith, 56, passed away on Aug 27, 2016, in Richmond, IN, after battling brain cancer for the last six months. Michael was the son of the late Jackie and Ann Smith and was also preceded in death by his sister, Carol Smith Berry. He is survived by a niece, Cherish Metsch, and nephew, Christopher Berry, of Richmond, IN; uncles, Bill Smith (Doris) of Crossville, Jim Smith (Delores) of New Paris, OH, and Chester Smith (Janice) of Pattonsburg, MO; and aunt, Delores Hickerson (Don) of Hendersonville, TN.
Memorial services for Michael T. Smith will be Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Gateway Baptist Church located at 53 Park Lane Spur off Crabtree Rd. (behind the Pilot on Genesis Rd.).
