Crossville and Cumberland County Authorities were involved in the high speed chase of a hit-and-run suspect this morning around 11 am.  Unconfirmed reports say a vehicle struck a car at a high rate of speed in front of Crossville Dairy Queen, then was pursued up South Main Street turning right onto West Neecham Street behind Best One Tire, the suspect then ran thru the back side of Cumberland Components and stole a delivery truck that had a 34′ trailer attached. The suspect was pursued out Lantana Road and back to Prentice Street where numerous spike sticks were deployed and the suspect was finally stopped at Stanley and Prentice Streets.
